What Pullbox is
Pullbox is one machine with one season of cards. You buy a sealed pack, it vends, and you tear it open to find a character card that exists once in the season. If you like it, you launch its coin on Pump straight from your wallet, and the launch includes your own first buy, so the first tokens are yours.
Rarity describes a card's art and traits. It does not promise any price, liquidity or return for its coin.
How a pull works
- 01Buy a pack. Pick any slot and approve the payment. That is approval one.
- 02Wait for it to land. The pack vends while your payment becomes final on chain. Your card is drawn only after that.
- 03Tear it open. The reveal shows the card that was drawn for your payment. The animation never decides anything.
- 04Launch its coin, if you want. Approval two creates the coin with the card's name, ticker and art and makes your first buy in the same transaction. You can also launch later from My pulls.
Close the tab at any point and the machine picks up where you left off. While simulated that works in the same browser; with real wallets it follows your wallet.
What it costs
The machine shows the most you can spend before you approve anything. Pack price and first buy below are placeholders while the machine is simulated; launch costs are measured from real Pump launches.
A quote is held for 90 seconds. Pump charges no fee to create a coin.
What you get
- The card, revealed to you alone until you launch.
- If you launch: the coin's first tokens from your own buy, in your wallet.
- Creator status on Pump: you are the coin's creator and earn its creator fees.
- Your name on the card as the one who pulled it. This record is not an NFT and selling tokens does not move it.
Fair draws
Before the first pack sold, the season's card list was locked in as a single fingerprint (a Merkle root) along with a fingerprint of the season key. The list itself stays private, so nobody can copy cards before they are pulled.
Every payment carries a commitment to that pull's secret, signed by you before anyone knows the card. The card is picked from the cards still in the machine using that secret, your payment's signature and the hash of the block your payment landed in. Neither you nor Pullbox can know or steer the result before the payment lands, and payments are drawn strictly in the order they land.
Each launched card's page shows its full proof: the commit, the revealed secret, the payment and block, the seed, the pick and the card's place in the season fingerprint. The season key is revealed when the season closes, so every draw can be replayed.
Refunds
A payment is refunded automatically, before any card is drawn, if it:
- pays for a pack that was already paid for,
- lands after its quote expired,
- lands after the last pack sold, or
- does not match its quote.
Once a card is drawn it is yours, and not launching it is your choice; it never goes back into the machine. A drawn card is refunded only if launches stop working for everyone for longer than a published window.
The Pullbox token
The Pullbox token's contract address shows in the CA chip in the top bar the moment its launch is confirmed on chain; on smaller screens it sits in the menu and the footer. Until then it reads tba.
Status
The machine is simulated today: payments, draws and launches run against a stand-in chain, and card art is pending. Real wallet payments and launches come next, tested first on a copy of mainnet.
